The Nike TW Kids Red 6-piece golf set is an inspiration from both Tiger Woods and his father, Earl Woods. As a young developing golfer, Tiger Woods benefited from properly fit golf clubs. His father Earl Woods knew clubs that were too heavy, too long, or had grips that were too large, could all contribute to the development of bad swing habits. Based on the relationship between an average mans height and driver length, Earl scaled down the measurements to Tigers height for every club in his bag. This same formula is the basis for the TW Kids club series. With proper fit, a foundation of good fundamentals can be established that will make the game more enjoyable for your child. The TW Kids Red set is recommended for ages 5-7 or players up to 50" in height. This 6-piece set includes the following: DRIVER: SQ SUMO2 driver head design for high MOI and straighter shots. The driver is made of 17-4 steel, has a lightweight graphite shaft by UST, a rubber grip by Lamkin, and a TW Kids driver headcover. IRONS: Two cavity back irons (5-iron and PW) have perimeter weighting for forgiveness and a wide sole that produces a low center of gravity for ease of getting the ball airborne. These irons are made of 17-4 steel, have lightweight graphite shafts by UST, and rubber grips by Lamkin. PUTTER: The putter is a pro style design with a milled flat face. It is made of 17-4 steel, has a rubber grip by Lamkin, and comes with a putter headcover. GOLF BALLS: 2-pack of EZ-Distance golf balls specifically designed for young golfers. These balls promote a high flight path and big distance = more fun!
